History[]
The First American Accords were signed on June 29, 2010 by the Mostly Harmful Alliance and the American Trading Group and announced on June 30, 2010. The American Accords are significant because they are the first treaty ever signed and announced in Lord Empires.
Text of Treaty[]
Preamble[]
The Mostly Harmful Alliance and the American Trading Group were two of the very first clans to ever be created. We both shared very much in those earliest of days, and though the days are still early, we wish to strengthen our ties and grow stronger together.
Article I: Sovereignty[]
The Mostly Harmful Alliance and the American Trading Group are two separate, sovereign clans; nothing in this treaty is meant to change that or detract from the sovereignty of either clan.
Article II: Respect[]
The Mostly Harmful Alliance and the American Trading Group agree to have respect for one another, and their members agree to respect each other both in public and in private.
Article III: Friendship[]
The Mostly Harmful Alliance and the American Trading Group thus proclaim each other as friends. While they may assist each other economically or militarily at times, neither is required to do so at anytime. However, they do agree to show respect towards one another, and to try to keep peace between each other.
Article IV: Amendments[]
This agreement maybe amended at anytime upon the agreement of the Mostly Harmful Alliance and the American Trading Group.
Article V: Cancellation[]
If the Mostly Harmful Alliance or the American Trading Group decides that they no longer wish to be friends with the other, or should they no longer wish to participate in this treaty, then they may cancel it at any time. However, the cancelling party must give a twenty-four hour notice to the other clan.
